Hey thanks everybody, and for all the PM's too. It was a pretty great day, lasted quite a ways into this A.M. and special thanks to Eve for driving the car while we got stopped at that sobriety checkpoint.
Funny, but true....
A female officer was asking Eve the questions while her male partner was checking out my side of the situation. She said, "Well, I smell alcohol", then a short pause...."Must be him", referring to me. "Yes it is", I replied. Then Eve says "It's his birthday", to which the female officer laughs and says "It's His birthday too", referring to her partner. "It looks like he's having a better birthday than you are", to which he shook his head in agreement. "And it's gonna get even better once we get home", I told him, as they waved us on down the road....
"Like God, I don't play with dice, and I don't believe in coincidences"- "V", from "V for Vendetta". Excellent movie, if you haven't seen it yet.
