I've been wanting to try out lowering the bike and decided i would try out a few link lengths and see how they worked out. i tried them in 1/8 inch lowering increments and decided that 7/8 was the best for me. all you need to make them is some 6mm to 1/4 thick 1 1/8 to 1 1/4 wide stainless bar stock 8.7' long. or rip it from plate like i did. clamp them together when you drill them to ensure the holes are both the same distance apart. the stock holes are 12mm but 15/32 provides a tighter fit. for 7/8 drop drill the holes 7.648" apart. thats only .18 longer than stock.
