Wandering around a parking lot in Corner Brook, Newfoundland yesterday, this unfamiliar bike caught my eye. Standard style with wind protection and hard bags. 600cc, comfortable looking seating position. I've never heard of the CBF600 in the states. Can we get those??

Looks like a good alternative to the WeeStrom. I checked Honda's Canadian website and see that the CBF is available w/ABS also. Any one here have any experience with this nice looking machine?

By the way, Newfoundland is beautiful. Hiking around Gros Morne National Park this week. Holy crap, the scenery is spectacular. But the gas is fookin expensive!!

I test rode a CBF600 last year.

What a great bike. Seriously electric smooth engine, great riding position. Good looking bike to boot.

I have seen many a CBF600 used for sport-touring in Europe. The other Japanese manufacturers offer similar bikes there as well. The only bike of that sytle I can think of which has been recently sold in the US is the Suzuki GSX650F: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_GSX650F It's a bit on the low end technologically speaking, with only 85HP and a steel tube frame giving a dry weight of 480lb. A late model Honda CBR600F4i might be an alternative, if you could find one in decent condition.
