Not for the boy/girl-racer crowd, but a nice 'tween machine. If/when Honda brings it here, it will probably find a market among those who don't want a heavy cruiser or a lighter weight speed machine, but are not quite ready for a scooter (though the Burgmans and Silver Wings are quite capable machines). That said, I doubt the US is the target market for this machine. I imagine the target is more international in scope, focused on Europe and Asia.

Hmmm..... large up/down buttons on the left, right next to a hydraulic clutch........ interesting........
(I think the handlebars are gonna be a long reach for shorter riders.)

If the forman rubicon (hondas quad with this similar tranny) is any indication then the up and down buttons are for your in there ESP mode(electronic shift program) and it allows you to switch between fully automatic and a version of manual. It works great on the quad. Full throttle shifts.

Interesting point...

look at the picture of the GPS in the dashboard closely. If I'm not mistake, it sure looks like the Garmin Zumo GPS screen. Maybe Honda is addressing some of the issues/complaints they have had about the GPS systems on the Goldwing and in their cars.

Also, with all the stuff on this thing it sure looks like the price could be way up there. I have not seen a projected price for this yet but it sure doesn't look cheap.

Your right, it does look like a Zumo 550. I was trying to figure out what the black things are on either side of the "pretty blue light" To me they look like speakers, i was trying to make out if they say BOSE on them. How nice would it be if that were a ZUMO 550 Bluetooth intact. Those were speakers, with a nice amp burried somwhere in the bike and the ability to pair your blutooth mp3, phone to the Zumo and get everything through those speakers. Yea, I can see this thing getting pretty pricey, especially if they start taking my suggestions.

The picture that Rondo777 posted is one iteration of the show bike. The oblong thingies on each side of the tank are indeed speakers. On other variations of this theme the speakers clearly have the traditional square HONDA logos. The glowing bright blue thingie in the center is a chrome key switch, perhaps with lights reflecting off of it. The key switch on our Honda (Element) is illuminated in a similar ring fashion, that may be what's going on here.

These are shots of the '08 that is supposed to be released. The first picture is definitely what the dash will look like. The second is 'the passenger's view'. This view includes a GPS that the first picture doesn’t have, and would lead me to believe the GPS is a factory option. Where did the speakers go? The foot running boards have changes both shape and size several time.

Seriously, this might be the perfect second bike for me! Might even be one that my wife would want to drive. She loves riding in my back pocket, but maybe this would give her the confidence to take the wheel. I think it is a beautiful design, and it didn't even have to "grow on me". It's sexy and clean. I'm impressed.
