In the photo below, check out that silver scooter behind it... looks like the nose of a ST1300!

Trying to remember what year Honda had an automatic trans on the CB750, about 1975-76 or so. Didn't sell to well then, see no reason to sell now. <_<

I sure hope that style does not catch on.

Looks like a VTX smashed into an alien.

ATTENTION YAMAHA.... Do not do fugly shit like dat ! :headbonk:

:bad:

:****: ALL!

ME LIKEY!

I've always been a fan of the long low and mean look. I like walz hardcore cycles (even though they are harley-based)

I wouldn't expect it to perform like the fjr, but it would definatly be a fun cruiser, and I'm sure worlds better than the hardley.

Don't know about the auto though, give me a manual.

:dntknw: I kinda like it. Take that damn auto tranny out and I would consider it. Well, in a hypothetical kinda way... It would probably cost more than I make a year.

I agree w/Slap...I'll be the first to tell you I'm not a cruiser fan, but I must admit I like the low/lean 'look' to it; that's as far as it goes, though. (Keep in mind I also like the look of the Warrior, FWIW) I'd never buy one -- auto trans? coupled up with an anemic V-twin that when you try to look up HP specs says "NA"?. Check out those aerodynamic floorboards--sleek, still kills cornering.. No thanks. Maybe they should code it the BBTLC-S (Baby Boomers Trying to Look Cool Scooter!)

1-845-457-1992 :haha: ;)
I said long low and mean, not short fat and bitter.

But why'd you let her out of the cage and giver her access to a phone anyway?

I mean, I'd understand if it started with 1-900 and all the profits were re-directed to you.

Try putting that number in a tele look-up and see what you get. And by 'her', I hope you don't mean who I think you might mean. Bust on me all you want, but... <_<

To be slightly more precise, the transmission is a CVT. LIke a snowmobile or scooter.

That's a key difference in Yamaha's approach with the AE. Most of the industry is heading in the direction of CVT's for clutchless bikes that make them behave more like snowmobiles, scooters, and a few cheap economy cars. Yamaha is going in the direction of computer-shifted conventional clutches and transmissions like F1 cars, the BMW M3 SMG, and the Ferraris. Big difference in how sporty each feels.

If it's an auto why the clutch lever? Or perhaps that's the rear brake?

I don't think this bike is meant for us... but a guy riding a Silver Wing might cream all over it. :cownoy:
