I recently went to several stores to find this after the high recommendations on FJRTech. Of course, I couldn't find it. I ended up using MolySlip 'cause it was the more expensive at the auto parts store. When comparing, I read on the label that MolySlip was in a "Bentone" base rather than -whatever the others were. I noticed the Moly seemed thinner with a lower melting point. It also has a graphite appearance. I was concerned when applying it to the shaft that it was too thin but I really couldnt find any info on the net.
Incidentally, you can still pick up the Honda stuff on Amazon and e-bay albeit pricey.

 
I did some reading on this. I won't be using M77 as a replacement for Moly 60, due to it's way lower temp rating (450 degrees compared to 750 for moly 60). There are a lot of other moly greases out there... locktite 51048 I think is a good choice. I also took a look at Krytox Teflon grease. Expensive stuff... would surely do the job, but probably overkill.

 
With the possible exception of the forward drive spline (going to U-joint), I have no need for a high molybdenum grease. Its messy as hell; especially if you wish to clean the dust and crap out of the wheel drive splines when you change tires. I have never any issue with a quick clean and a smear of good quality synthetic grease. Much cleaner and I seriously doubt there is any wear worth mentioning. (Has anyone ever seen a lubricant-related failure on the wheel splines on an FJR?) The fittings to the u-joint, on the other hand, only see the light of day every 2 or 3 years and the high MoS2 lubricant makes a bit more sense - for corrosion protection if nothing else.

The typical FJR applications for grease are neither extreme pressure nor extreme temperature.
