Honda Unveils the 2014 CTX Series (CTX700, CTX700N) clicky articleNot that I would care much about it, after all it's a 700.... yet when I was on the market for a sports tourer and though a 1300 is WAY to big for me, made me look at the old NT700V from Honda... so will see how the new “Comfort, Technology and eXperience.” will turn out...

Footpegs are in the wrong location for a ST.

I think it would be great with a 3rd cylinder/1050cc's. Oh, wait a sec....

I think it is just precious!

And here we complain about a stiff throttle, poor suspension, and all the other little nitpicks with the FJR. Just think how we would feel if Yamaha tried to force that thing on us.

Ummm... you guys did notice this paragraph, right?

The CTX700N and CTX700ND feature standard cruiser styling, while the CTX700 and CTX700D take the basic model, and add a fairing, windscreen and some hard bags to enhance touring capabilities.

Yep, these are 700cc cruisers, which is why the footpegs look all wrong. They aren't even supposed to be sport tourers. Usually whenever they start throwing around the "experience" im marketing that translates to "cruiser"

Personally I'd like to see Honda do a little more with the VFR800X Crossrunner. That seems like a bike that could match up well against the BMW and Triumph 800cc ADV bikes.

I think with a seat height of 28.3 inches putting the pegs more under the rider would negate the "more comfortable" concept.

I kind of saw this comming after the appearent success of the NC700. I believe Honda is going to sell a **** load of these bike here. (Only real complaint I heard of about the NC was its tall saddle)

Not sure how well the paddle shifters will do, but I've seen new riders at the dealer oooing and aaashing

them.....
