Me: Yup. Makes it more interesting.

Wife: Ok. But be careful.

Me: I will. Bye.

It'd been raining the entire week. Today looks promising so far..

Awesome back roads to start the journey.

"Oh f*ck!" moment. I was expecting to hear a crunch...

The highway below. 40 miles of 4th gear sweepers! Will be taking that route on the return leg. :yahoo:

Part II

Finally reaching the east coast. I can almost smell it..

A small fishing village along the way...

That's a big bird house...

Its monsoon season. Weather can turn on you really quick.

A dirty FJR is a happy FJR

I actually came all this way to enjoy this stretch of road between the fishing village of Nenasi and the town of Pekan

Time for lunch. Simple fare as always.

Viewing a slide show of the pics I'd taken so far, while I enjoyed my lunch...

If you pass through here, this is what the restaurant looks like. No one around cos I stopped at around 3pm for lunch.

Reached the town of Pekan on the East coast.

Time to head back home. Followed the river back inland.

Made a few stops along the way. Fatigue and a sore *** setting in at this point..

Safely made it home, some 12 hours later...
