Incredible Ride Report, Nik; Incredible. Malaysia is definitely now on my bucket list. Want to ride Morocco, but I think Malaysia will come first! Truly beautiful country!

I even miss those air cooled 400's and 600's. I see from your posts that there is quite a lot of hardware currently available.
Thanks Khunajawdge, That looks like a nice ride!

Great ride report! I'd so love to ride around your neighborhood!
Thanks. If you do come round to this side of the world and need someone to ride with, drop me a line.

VERY cool stuff! Thanks for sharing!

And a max speed of 228 Kmh, eh? Nice...
BikerGeek. Yeah 228, and she was actually still very responsive. Could have got lots faster but I chickened out.

Wow...that's some great stuff! :yahoo:

Thanks for sharing. :clapping:

Russell Custom Built Seat should be your next modification...
Thanks Wheaton. I've been wondering about a custom seat. But worried that it might add extra height. As it is, I'm not able to flat foot the bike during stops. But I guess I'll wait until the stock seat is worn out before I replace it.

Don, when you do get here, drop me a line. If you want, I'd be more than happy to show some great roads to ride. :)

Hello Nik, I will definitely take you up on this! The farthest East I have been riding is Bora Bora, Tahiti and Papeete and I rented a Vespa scooter on each island. I would love to ride Malaysia. Same offer goes from me to you, if you find yourself en Estados Unidos, contact me at 480-440-4666 or [email protected] No need for you to rent a bike, I have got five! Khunajawdge has been trying to get me to ride Thailand with him for years, I would like to do that also!

Awesome Nik!!!! You have some of the best pix and rides I've seen. Very artsy pix of you and the bike in B&W.

Awesome ride, looked like some great vistas (and food) and some rather scary road hazards.

Ride safe. ;)

Nik, it's so nice to know that no matter where we are in the world, we FJR riders speak one universal language...

Breakfast at McDonald's.

So. You gonna finish them hashbrowns?

Don,

Much looking forward to it. If you do decide to come over, March to Oct are the best times of the year - the other months are monsoon season - not that it doesn't rain anyway during the other months

And many thanks for your offer. That's very kind of you. Don't know if I'll have the opportunity to go there but if I do, I'll drop you a note.

Nik.
