Any of you get damage?

F2 tornado last night and the just said baseball sized hail right now.

Fence...,

Thanks for your thoughts and concerns. So far, the storms went 15 miles to the north and 15 miles to the south... still tooo close for comfort. Had hail covering my yard and drive last night the size of peas.

Today, the same thing happend but this system has killed 4 people just 20 miles west of me and now spawning 4" HAIL Stones(like baseballs) storms just east of me. And it still is not over yet.

Thanks for your thoughts... not a good day for riding either !!

Downtown Atlanta looks like a war zone. Georgia Dome, Phillips Arena, CNN Center and the Convention Center had substantial damage.

It went both North and South of us as well so we dodged this one.

We had nickle sized hail at 2 a.m. last night then it moved to you.

Hey Scab, how did you fair? you were in the middle of this also.

Bustanut,

Thanks for your concerns. It has been a rough last couple of days. It is now estimated the Atlanta metro has suffered about $200 million in damages... a miracle no more lives were lost.

All the Best!

One of the northern cells split about 10 miles west of my house, on side passed over Woodstock and the other side over Barrett Pkwy. We got no hail, just some wind and rain. Having been through more north Texas hail storms than I can remember, I'm thankful to have not been affected by this one.

Downtown is a complete wreck. I had to make a trip to the Bellsouth/ATT building on Spring & Peachtree yesterday... what a wreck down there. Reminds me alot of a few years ago when a tornaduh (as they say back home) ripped through Fart Worth. Bad scene.

Wow, guys. What a mess. I also hope everyone is doing all right down there.

I was in a tornado as a 10-year-old. I was in a warehouse-type building at the time as the roof was torn off it. It was a long time before I could hear an approaching thunderstorm and not get nauseous.

Sorry to take so long to respond. Just been busy. We faired very well during the storm. Only some wind, rain, a little hail. Everything's fine on this end.

Well it sucked ass where I was at. Didn't really make any news, but 2 different tornado's hit the Taylorsville/Euharlee/Cartersville area. I got stuck in Home Depot on Saturday as the system slammed into Cartersville. They herded us into their concrete bunker of a break room (about 70 ppl total) and we waited it out there. Didn't see any hail but the rain was substantial. Made it back to my neighborhood to find many of the homes looked like islands. Mine was just fine though.

Took a ride Sunday and went into the area's that were hit, wasn't planning on going there so I didn't take the camera, but needless to say, there was no trouble figuring out where the damn things ripped through. Might try to get back out there and take some pics. It's nothing I haven't seen before, but it's still just awe-inspiring to see what mother nature is capable of.

Stay out of Downtown Atlanta! Traffic is a mess with all of the street closings.

It was a mess without all the street closings.

Is everyone present and accounted for? Those where some horredous storms you peoples had to deal with.

Alive and kicking down here...I was fortunate enough to get only lots of rain and wind. Although I work Mondays and Tuesdays from home, I have to get back to the office next Wednesday. I usually take the Marta to Peachtree Ctr... Hope there is an office to go to!
