These grips are on the FJR I just bought. I want to go back to regular rubber grips and bar ends (throttlemeisters eventually)but I don't know how to get these things off. I'm not that worried about the throttle side because I have the G2 tube that I'm going to put on so I suspect I could just take off the stock tube and this grip with it. But what do I do about the passenger side?

Not sure about the clutch side, but just replaced the throttle tube. To remove that grip, I had to use a small flat-head screw driver to break the glue. Compressed air and wd40 helped but the screwdriver did the trick. I image I'd have to do the same on the other side.

Problem solved. Just took a dremel, vice grips and adhesive remover to the clutch side. Probably lucky I was replacing the throttle tube because I don't think the stock tube would've survived the grip removal.
