How Hot Is Hot?

The earlier models had 3.38 quarts of system coolant. The later models have 2.75 quarts. The effect may be negligible but I'd expect the temperature to rise faster in the later models.

That is interesting. I learned something new tonight. Mine cruises at about 4 bars and in stop and go traffic it bounces between 4 and 8. It's pissing me off so maybe I should try to fit an extra 1/2 quart in for the ride in tommow?
