A Bandit 1250 does......it makes FULL torque at only 3200rpm's (about 81ft lbs)Which one pulls better from 3500-4k rpms? Some interesting coincidences in this thread.
I have a 2004 FJR. I also have a 2002 ZRX1200R.
In the 10 1/2 years I've owned the ZRX, I've put 35,000 miles on it.
In the 7 years I've owned the FJR, I've put 75,000 miles on it.
Still own the ZRX AND the FJR.
I wouldn't trade either for the other, 'cause I'm thrilled to death with both.
Don't mind Howie. On his home planet of Dementia everythingmakes perfect sense.
If the other traffic is a blur, you're probably going a tad too fast. Just trying to help!My biggest problem with my new FJR is that I find myself speeding bad when I'm not trying to. At 70 I feel like I am doing about 45. It is so smooth and comfy that I can't judge my speed very well.

I read on the Internet about this one time last summer where the owner of a new BMW M5 decided he was going to blast around the rider of an '05 FJR after they both took off from a stop light. The FJR pulls like a freight train and goes from 0 to illegal in very short order...that pretty much sums it up. And yes, it does feel like you've been shot out of a cannon.
