ZERO

Unfortunately I have not been toward the north east at all. NOT on the bike OR the car.

That needs to change by the looks of the pics.

Nice link

Well, that is a kick in the pants ... NO, never seen any of that stuff ... I gotta get up that way !!!

Here in Illinois, we have this view ... to the North, South East and West ... So, yer killin me ...

#10, Hyner View PA. That was at last year's Penn-Run. I've got a lot of catching up to do.

Wifey and I are planning to leaf peep in those parts this year. No motorcycle, though. We will rent a car from the airport, take 7-10 days to loop around, and then fly home. This is a great list of things to check out, though - so thanks for posting this.

We did something like this. Only time I have been to the NE. We flew into Portland Maine and drove

around in a rented car for 10 days. It was outstanding!!!

It was before we had bikes.

So:

On bikes - 0

By car - 2

None. The Northeast is the one area of the country that I haven't explored at all.I always wanted to get up that way,but I always ended up going somewhere else. Thanks for posting those pics...I now have a good base to build a tour around.I'll have to plot those sites, and others I want to see, and start looking for roads. Thanks again.

Denny,

A few of the places in NY, along with the one in PA are definitely doable in a weekend. Let me know if you wanna go...once i get the new bike.

Same view after they harvest all the scenery.

The wife and I spent a couple days at the Omni Mt Washington Resort last April in the middle of the White Mountains. Classic hotel that's pricey but we sure did enjoy it.
