I know there are 2 positions for the rider seat on the '06, would appreciate help to setting the seat in the "upper" position ... hopefully w/ pics for the slow ones like myself, Thanx

Take off the seat, pull out the plastic thingy under the seat until the taller pillars are positioned under the rubber stops. Snap the plastic thingy back down, snap the seats into position. Go ride.

It's just a matter of moving the plastic "spacer" forward or backward under the seat on the frame so that the seat feet either sit down nearly on the frame, or up on the high points on the spacer.

Sorry, no pics here. Bueller? Anyone?

There's one more step in addition to that, or at least there is on my bike. Ok, there's the white plastic tab that slides into a slot just behind and at the base of the gas tank, right? There's a black plastic thingy around that slot that you have to pull off, which reveals an upper slot for the higher seating position. The white tab underneath the seat slides into the upper slot & *PRESTO*... you're tall.

Read pages 3-16 and 3-17 of your Owner's Manual!

Aha ..... THAT'S IT :clapping:

I kept on moving the plastic frame but everytime was unable to fit slide the chair into the slot below the tank, will try this and see then ....

This bike is new to me, so my experience is limited... I found both positions had me sliding forward. I went with the upper front/lower rear. Not an OEM option, but it feels great to me. Made hard rubber standoffs to support the seat.
