Seriously? This has to be one of the first things most owners I know have done. Everytime you get back on the bike, you adjust the windshield to where you ride. Make the mistake of laying something like a helmet on the bars, when you stop, and the shield comes down and gets scratched. I like the power shield to select height for different weather and riding preferences, but I really have no use for the auto-retract, and very few people I ride with do either.It doesn't make any sense to me to hear that some people are disabling the shield auto-retract. If the shield didn't auto-retract, I suspect those same people would be asking how they could make it do so.It would make an interesting poll to see how many of us did NOT disable the windshield auto-retract. Talk about a feature most would opt-out of.
