How to disable 2007ae windshield

It would make an interesting poll to see how many of us did NOT disable the windshield auto-retract. Talk about a feature most would opt-out of.

It doesn't make any sense to me to hear that some people are disabling the shield auto-retract. If the shield didn't auto-retract, I suspect those same people would be asking how they could make it do so.

Seriously? This has to be one of the first things most owners I know have done. Everytime you get back on the bike, you adjust the windshield to where you ride. Make the mistake of laying something like a helmet on the bars, when you stop, and the shield comes down and gets scratched. I like the power shield to select height for different weather and riding preferences, but I really have no use for the auto-retract, and very few people I ride with do either.

I'm with dbx.....disabling the auto-retract makes NO sense to me.
