How do I remove the right side cover. It's the plactic painted body panel under the seat. It's painted silver on my blue 05 FJR. It's show on page 3-14 in the service manual. I have all the screws and bolts removed and I have those plastic snap in stays removed execpet for the one that goes into the metal frame near the gas tank. How do I get that one out? Do I just pull hard? I don't want to break the plastic of the body panel by pulling too hard and I can't figure out how to pull the center retaining plastic pin. The other plastic pins I just pushed out from the back side but you can not get to the back side of this pin. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Todd

If its one with a phillips head turn the inner part counter--clockwise and the center will pop out and you can pull it out. The others push in the center and it will pop in, you can then pull it out.

There is no head to screw out like one or two of the others. I thought I had to pull the center portion out not push it in. I'll try that and see what happens.
