Sorry, Just started a new job and haven't been on the forum in a while and haven't been able to add much here.

WSBK is 2 weeks away, MotoGP is 5 weeks away, AMA is 4 weeks away, BSB is about 10 weeks away.

Gonna be another great season!!!! Can't wait to see how all of the changes in MotoGP play out.

Hope the new job is going well, glad to see your back Randy. Your racing knowledge is always spot on. GO Spies!
Thanks!!! Great to be back. So far, so good with the new job.

Could be a great year for Spies. He's got the ability. He's got the bike. He just has to work on his mental game. For some reason, other than what he did at Indy last year, he's got this monkey on his back with coming out of the gate strong. He's gotta get over that. He's always strong at the end of the race, but, can't seem to jump up in the front pack and stay there at the beginning. Not just saying this because I'm a fan, but, I think he'll improve on this aspect this year.

Randy, I'm not so sure it was a mental monkey. He just didn't have the bike to keep up with the aliens. Yes? No?

Since you seem to be one of the go to guys on the forum regarding racing, I'd say you made it back just in time, Randy. I'm looking forward to MotoGP as well; there's been so much movement in the off season I can't wait to see how it all starts shaking out. I'm especially interested if Crutchlow's performance can match his ego.

No, Randy had it right. Ben has admitted that he's had a problem at the start and getting on the pace right from the start. Yes, the bike last year was bit down from the factory machines but he managed pretty well in the second half of the races. This year, if he can get better starts and get up to pace at the start, he'll be on the box.

His results at Indy proved his bike wasn't that far off. Sure, it wasn't a full on factory bike, but, it's no slouch.

If you go back through last seasons results and look at his times middle/late race, quite often they were real close to the front runners.

Can't wait to see if he's got the fire in his belly to get to the front and stay there.

It was amazing to see the support for him at laguna last year, there were so many folks wearing his logo clothing, looks like the rossi fans will be matched this season.
