Last month, we got a full on Zonie Monsoonie Display.  This month, the weather should be considerably more temperate.  Maybe we can actually get to Payson this time !

Saturday Sept 25th (full moon is Thursday 23rd)

BTW, for you Druid types, this year the full moon and the autumnal equinox happen on the same day.  That makes it a special "Harvest Moon".  Time to slaughter a sheep (Hey, Bust!) in offering and dance around it.  Also, this moon is the earliest to rise after sunset during the entire year.

Destination - El Rancho Mexican Resturant in Payson, west side of 87, just before 260 turnoff.  (Papa Chuy has tried it, it gets good reviews)

Meetup - Chevron Station Hwy87 & N. Ft. McDowell Rd., south side of 87, just before Verde River bridge, across from Ft. McDowell Casino.

Kickstands up - 7:30PM

After dinner - Loop around 260 to Camp Verde for night owls, or back home for others

Hmmmmm..........

Sounds interesting mi bastard step-pappy. But aren't you going to be up past your 7:30pm bedtime?

Due to the blasted heat and no firm responses from participants,

Tu Papa Chuy Viejo is NOT leading this RTE/ETR ride.

This 62- year old Certified Old Fart just can't take the Phoenix summers anymore!!!

It is 103 degrees on my front porch here in Chandler and I cannot get motivated to ride now!

Sorry about being a party pooper, folks; we'll try it next month. I'm heading back to the pool!

Wuss. You're as bad as Fairlaner.

Geese, Jane and I had decided to grace you with our presence, and you go quitting on us. You DO realize we would have been in cooler temps in an hour.

Wuss.

Just hearing "old fart" and me with a fickin 2 wheel car just may decide to get a Hyabusa. Hate to keep the aging process going on too long... But the pig has just about made me feel waaay old. I guess a motorcycle is in order . . .

Glad I saw this earlier and didnt spend the hour getting across town . . . .

I may get up in the morning and head for Jerome via Mingus.
