Man, as if there wasn't enough stuff to worry about such as; potholes, gravel, oil, insurance, knee pucks, rain, sleet, wind, snow, humidity, heat, tires, coolant leaks, and the grave etc. now we have soggy falling sheet rock? = Remarkable

barb has 2 dogs and both had surgery in the last couple months. One ate a fence it couldn't digest.

Thats a big bummer, will you home owners insursnce cover this? I hope it's not as bad as it looks.

I got most of the crud cleaned off and so far I haven't been able to find any damage....so I might have lucked out in that respect. On the other hand it doesn't look like I'll be able to upgrade any of my farkles! Damn. Some restoration people are coming over later today and I'll see if I can talk them into detailing the bike....

Seein' as how it never gets too cold in the Lower Mainland they don't build (or didn't build back in the day) those homes with much insulation value. Every once in a long while there's a bad cold snap and maybe a wind blowing from an unusual direction and suddenly there are frozen and burst pipes everywhere.

I racked up about 5 hours plowing snow yesterday for me and the neighbours on my quad so I feel your pain bud. Can you send the bills to Al Gore? Global warming my ***!

No but we do have a kind of big brother insurance system in B.C. You must get your liability insurance through a government owned agency and if you take your bike off the road for winter (which I have), and don't want to keep paying the liability, you have to turn your plates in. They just don't trust us to do the right thing.

They're real nice about it though; when you put your bike back on the road in spring and start paying them money again, they give you a brand spanking new licence plate with a fresh set of numbers. Now that's gotta be better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick!
