Pardon me? What was that?

Oh. I'm sorry.

It was the Putah Creek Cafe. My mistake.

I met Terri HYCLE (a genuine sweetheart), and what's-his-name in Winters at

the Putah Creek Cafe, and after breakfast (thank you Mikey),

I was shown some local roads I'd never ridden.

This isn't much of a ride report, but rather just a whole bunch of photos of the back of the HYCLE-mobile.

The skies were dark and threatening, but Mr. Weather had promised it

wouldn't actually rain until very late afternoon.

Springtime in Northern California, and everything turns incredibly green.

Well, we could see rain coming down to the east, and figured it was time to scurry home.

I waved farewell to the HYCLES as we approached Dixon, and rode like hell

back to Sacramento, getting home just as the showers started.

Thanks Mike and Terri.

Thanks for looking at my pictures. Your comments are welcomed.

Next week - South in search of a sunburn.

I didn't know Loch Ness was in our neck of the woods.

Goes to show when you get out of the big city, Republicans come out of the woodworks...

This would be a beautiful picture for a jig saw puzzle!

Great pictures Mike!

Thanks

Very nice report again Senor Mike. Glad Mr. and Mrs. Hycle had a nice ride with you.

You must have given them a 1/2 hours notice.

Everything is nice and green, especially with the overcast.

That "green" on the FJR is the perfect color for a 1970 Cadillac pimpmobile. (Ask Dr. Rich)

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa, there skippy! This is MY ride report Mikey. I"ll do the splainin' here.

(And what do you call that font? Times HUGE Roman?)

Lessee here. Those first couple, would be, ...the... Appian Way. Yes. Very old, historic, road.

And the others are, well,....I'll have to look at my notes.

I'll have to find my notes.

And then look at them.

:D

Looks like you guys had a good day.... You will have to teach me how you hold the camera so still when taking riding shots. Are you sure they are not staged? On the way back from Cache Creek a couple of weeks ago, I took Tyler down Pleasant Valley Road. It is beautiful this time of year... Nice Job to whomever is in charge of this post! Rich

I have ridden that road for years and never seen the water monster... Are you sure you didn't do something with Photoshop?

In order to spot the water monster you must prepare and time it just right.

First you load up with Apple Cinnamon French Toast in Winters.

Next you ride west on Putah Creek Road past Lake Solano.

Then, and only then, will you spot the monster in the lake.

Of course you have to wait until your riding partner is past the point of confirming your sighting.

Oh and I forgot you have to be Irish and wearing a yellow helmet.
