Hyder to Hyder then 48plus

I made the ride to Hyder last year from Cheyenne and thought it was awesome and have been wanting to do a 48 plus starting from Hyder. I may be overly zealous in my planning.

My first thought was to start in Jax Beach FL and time my arrival in Hyder,AZ to start to Hyder to Hyder making a pit stop across the border then picking up a 50cc by making a stop in San Diego and onwards to Hyder, AK.

I would start the 48 plus from Hyder, AK and would like to end of up in Florida and not have to back track too much. As of right now I have only played with basecamp for a little bit and the best route had me routing back to Louisiana then back home to Florida. I will spend more time mapping later this week and hope to come up with a more direct route without much if any backtracking across states to get home.

I have a 48 Plus from Florida to Hyder. You could reverse it, but it is a slab route for a 10/10ths.

I would love to see what you came up with. The best I've been able to come up with is right at 9200 miles.

Thank you. A little different than what I had worked out, but with some good features. More interstate on yours which I would imagine made for a pretty time-efficient route.

BTW- I did the Hyder 2 Hyder both ways (With different routes) last year in May… fun ride!
