I bought and installed a front set of springs and a rear replacement shock spring for my 03 FJR this spring. A friend who races dialed in my settings and I can't believe the difference just changing the springs made. HyperPro also sells complete rear shocks if you want to spend a lot of cash. Word of caution... rear spring replacement eliminates completely the soft-hard controller and it's functionality.

They have springs for any kind of bike, I even ordered a 'set' for my Moto Guzzi Quota and there aren't many of those in the U.S.. Very good company indeed!

That would be the reason we were all gunna jump on the Wilburs rear shock..

I like the idea of being able to have the adjustment on the fly.... that is important to me.....

I selected 'hard' the day I picked up the bike and never rode it selected to 'soft'. The stock shock in my opinion is not bad but the right spring sure has made the difference for me, at far less cost than a complete replacement shock. I'll never miss the 'hard/soft' controller.

We have had a lot of discussions about the Wilber shock and I am convinced that that is the rear shock for me. The prospect of a group buy with good pricing will determine if I buy now or wait a little while for the stock shock to wear out. I too want the adjustable preload because I normally ride solo and want to be able to crank up the preload for those ocasions when I have a pillion. I don't think I'd go with just a change of spring because I don't expect the stock shock to last very long anyway.

As for the front springs, does anyone have comparison information between the different suppliers and the Wilbers?
