Hopefully the weather will cooperate tomorrow and I will be able to put some miles on it and get it broke in. I am just so excited about riding it.

I got to ride for a couple of hours before the rain started yesterday. Wow how much I missed this bike. It has so much smooth power and I haven't even got over 4000 RPM. Must take it easy for the first 1000 miles till I break it in. I am going to get my first Farkle soon. I need the Touring windscreen. The one on the bike is too short and the windstream hits me right on the top of my helmet. I read where a lot of people are happy with the touring windscreen.

Orbit, I see in Cycle Canada Yamaha is offering their 2012 product including the FJR at 2005 prices; at least here in Canada? How would you compare your new bike with the price of the 07? Just wondering if those who might be interested and live near the border might look north for their new purchase?

Canada is still overpriced! Look at cycletrader and you can find 2012 FJR's advertized as low as $13,599 in the U.S., up here MSRP is $16,999 and that's more then I paid for mine in 2005.

The list was $15,590.00 and it was hard to get them to come off that price with my trade. It was the only one in the dealership so I don't feel too bad about the deal. I am sure if I was dealing without the trade I could have done better.
