The Cubs still suck though.

You'll never get an argument from me on that point! It's pretty fun watching them implode evrytime they do something that might help them win :D , Sox are suckin pretty badly too though :(

Made it home nice and dry, thanks again Alex it was fun, even though I got a little nervous in some of those turnswhen I saw the gravel waitin for me! It's all good now, made greattime com9in home and got to play w/ the GPS to see how well it works. Had a guy on an R1 ride w/from touhy up untyil I was 3 blocks from home, which was pretty cool. Thanks again, enjoy the rest of the weekend, both of you!

How much longer are you here for Skoot?

Fly out early Wednesday morning. I am here with my g/f who's here on business. Cubs game this past Wednesday night (they lost 9-0, but at least no dug-out antics :angry2: ). Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba tonight followed with some blues bars. Had a great bike (as in bicylce) ride along the lakeshore yesterday, with a stop at one of my favorites for lunch: Portillo's. Just can't get a decent hot dog outside of Chicago. Might go do Uno's for lunch here soon. God I love this town in the summertime.

Glad to hear you are back in the saddle - in more ways than one.
Chicago weather has been absolutely beautiful the last few days I have been here, so get out there and enjoy it. (Time for me to leave the Palmer House and take some of my own advice instead of typing in the room.)

You were in Chicago and we just hearing about it? How come you did not stop by for coffee today?

Gravel? There was gravel? Hmmm, either I totally missed it, or you are paying way too much attention to what is on the road. It sure did not feel like I was on gravel, but who knows. If there is just learn to ignore it. Next time mention it to me.

Enjoy your stay here Skooter...sorry I can't come out to play. Work is nuts... but I will take care of that with a few weekend stress reliever trips. It was fun riding with you down in MO at Smitty's ride.

Yeah, BOTH Cubs and Sox are sucking this year...gonna be a long summer for them.

EVIL, glad to hear you're back in the saddle! :clapping: :clapping:

It was on the outside of a few left handers, me just being a ***** that's all. Didn't even come close, just started worying for nuttin. Once I passed the first bunch I just started ignoring them and looked thru the turn insted of at the gravel, bad habits die hard sometimes. ;) Like I said tday was first ride in a looooooooooong time and I've been reading about waaaaay too many crashes, including mine,on that stuff. Cagers, on the otherhand, I'm used to them being stupid. That's why the ***** jacking on the brake to make a left didn't catch me, I'm used to that, especially w/ little poland/ puerto rico over here! Oh, $100 says he wasn't insured either :D

Yeah, that red POS was a rude wake up call. But that jugger took some of my attention as well. :dribble:
