As some of you now, I totaled out my 750 at the track.

Well, I got a new ride.

I bought this from a friend of mine who gave me a sweetheart deal....$8000. It has less than 300 miles.

But wait- there's more. I got a new Shoei x11 helmet for $200.

Life is good!

Very Niiiice! :yahoo: So, are you and Uncle Dave going to change bikes at the track, hmmmmm? IIRC, someone injured a collarbone. Wasn't that you? And its "all better" now? Or is this one of those...."I'll be really really careful, Hon. I just want to circle the track."

Let's be careful. None of those, "Hey, watch this!" moments.

I just got back from the track and damn this thing is fast. It handles well, stops on the dime and accelerates like a rocket ship.

I took it relatively easy since I'm still heeling my collar bone, but this thing is seriously fast. That said, I was more comfortable on mt 2000 GSXR750. I had the suspention redone( Olins in back and PPS in front) , magesium wheels, full titanium exhaust, Ebc race kit pads ect.

and I had a ton of track miles on it. I had it dailed and went faster on it than than the 1000. However I have done nothing to the 1000 yet, not even adjusting the suspension.

I' m sure that once I get the 1000 dialed I'll be even faster but it just goes to show that HP isn't everything. You need suspension, handling, brakes, and need to feel confident to go fast.

This yellow bee shoud bury the satisfaction needle into the red....looks like real fun. PM. <>< :yahoo:

you gonna make the new one track only or keep it streetable?
