Thanks again to Warchild et al that put on WFO this past summer. I finally arranged to get the SET of Avon tyres that I won as a door prize at Rad's cotillion.

I was very pleased when I called and told them I was ready to get the tyres, and the nice young lady knew who I was! My paperwork was in order, I mailed them $30 for shipping, and she sent me out a pair of spanking new STORMS!!!!! Brand new sweet STORMS!!!! FOR FREE (sorta). FJRocket, you lucky SOB.

I just had a set of Pilots installed on an 'emergency' basis (as in I gotta have em for this ride coming up) and not only paid full pop for them, they charged me 1.7 hours labor to install. All that and no vaseline, either.

Now - that being said, you may have received a free set of tires - but you will ALWAYS have to deal with the psycological ramifications of seeing Radman in a tiara and feather boa. Nothing is free, sir. There is always a price to pay. There will be a time in the future when this comes back to haunt you. :lol: What you saved in tire costs will be more than offset by therapy charges. Good Luck. :huh:
