I'm just home from from the dealer. What a great ride. I was riding an 86 FJ. What a difference 22 years makes. Great power. Nice Balance. Seems more nimble than the old FJ.

Only 25 miles on it and I love it!!

It's an insanely hot day here in the bay area (the FJR was reading 104 degrees in my area). I was starting to get worried because the cooling temp meter kept creeping up as I rode. She's cooling down in my garage currently. Gonna take the wife out for a stroll this evening as things start to cool down.

Thanks to everyone on this board for the help and assistance in making this decision. You folks are the best.

Let me be the first to congratulate you .... good looking ride man ... get some sliders on that baby, and enjoy the ride!!!

Ah yes only 25 miles, that was about 6500 miles ago and only 3 months. Putting miles on that thing is easy. I am replacing my front tire as I type this.

Welcome to the club!

Welcome aboard

GREAT LOOKING BIKE!!!..... now lets go riding... but not today!! it is crazy hot day today for sure!!

...PM me when your ready to ride......... :p

Love the black especially since mine is the same  . Get thee some sliders quickly. There will be lots more farkles in your future, :yahoo: . BTW, it has 10 bars on the temp. dealie and can go up to about 7 in my experience or maybe even 8 if in slow traffic or setting still in that heat. But the fans should bring it down a bit or keep it from going to 9-10 (not good). If it doesn't I'd ask the dealer to check it out. You might want to check to see if the coolant was done right too.

Which dealer did you get it from??????
OTD in Burlingame. I started with Eastbay Motorsports in Hayward...had a really bad experience there. The OTD folks came in with the price I was looking for and were really nice and casual. No pressure.

Not sold on their service department yet. Met with the service manager. From what I understand they are short staffed. We'll see after the 600 mile service.

Congratulations on that marvelous new ride!

Looks better than mine. Yours is cleaner!!

Good luck and I wish you many happy miles on it.
