Yeah....I spend entirely too much time on the forum. If the boss knew how much I was here during the day, he'd dock me a year's pay. Oh well, it's my form of Internet Addiction. Can't say it's any better or worse than any other kind of Internet Addiction, but I think it beats the hell out of MissusHowie's World of Warcraft addiction. But that's just my opinion. I mean, c'mon....she spends HOURS hanging out with nerds, turds, geeks, freaks, techs, mechs and goatphuckers.....oh ****......never mind.

Anyway, I was in "FJR General..." a couple of minutes ago and for the first time EVER, I clicked the number link in the "Replies" column next to OCFJR's Darkside thread.

First time I ever bothered clicking the ### in that column for ANY post. Didn't realize it would bring up a box of who has replied to a certain thread and the number of times they've replied. Just never clicked there before, so didn't know the feature existed.

But when I did, DAYUM I was shocked.....

I can NOT believe I have replied to the Darkside thread 66 times! :blink: :blink:

I had no idea what a postwhore I am. Sure, I spend a lot of time in the Technical/Mechanical forums, but shee-it!

I'm actually a little embarassed with myself.

Anyone got an opinion or suggestion on what is obviously a vicious dependancy? Do I need an intervention?

We were hoping you'd notice the problem before we had to make a rule #11 just in your honor. Admins have been exchanging PM's about you for weeks.

I have credit for 6600 posts. I've actually made about 7050 over the years. (this is an admin trick I have) So, about 94% are marginally on the topic FJR's...or at least it means less than 10% of my daily post diet is in the certain sugared cereal threads we've come to love an enjoy including NEPRT, Jokes, Off-Topic, etc.

Let's have a look at you Howie........lemme see.....oh...HERE IT IS!

4050 posts total with about 3700 counting. About 91% relevancy. Hmmm...that's pretty good.

Since 'ya did pipe up....you'd be proud to know you have a 72% on-topic posting record. While I would say that's bad...it's certainly not the lowest percentage on the board. However, those people with lower ratios tend not to have Members++ by their name and even have their own islands on the Member Map.....if you know what I mean.
