I Hate My 2005 Fjr

I really hate this bike.

Seriously. I'm always on it, I never use my Jag or Mustang anymore and they just stay covered up in the garage all the time.

Not to mention, I have nobody to go riding with.

Doesn't that suck?

Other than that it's an awesome bike. Wanted one for years.

If anybody in the L.A. area wants a friend to ride with, just let me know.

That is most unfortunate.....I feel your pain and would really like to help! Please ship the Jag to Houston and I will institute a regular regimen of exercise for it to keep it good running order (when I'm not on my 05 myself) AT NO CHARGE because I"m such a nice guy!

Well, since I am sending the XJR to that guy on Monday, I hope selling the Mustang GT will raise enough money.

I'll try craiglist first, since there is no charge when you sell stuff.

Yes, I've noticed this too. Friends I used to ride with no longer seem to want to ride. I think most are intimidated by the time one can stay in the saddle and my aversion to stopping for gas or anything, like eating. Not to mention the way this bike flies and handles. It definitely can cost one friends and sometimes even spouses I hear.

Not Santa Barbara pick up point this time. Meet the main group in Ventura at the Jack in the Box, just off the 101 on Victoria (Victoria Exit, turn right, Jack's is on your left 1/4 block up.) They leave at 9:00 am, sharp.

They are picking me and Ojai Roy up in Ojai at the 76 station on 33 @ the 150, about 9:20.

We have two distinct groups within our little cadre: Haul Assers and We'll catch-up with Y'alls. Choose your group and have fun!

Yeah, it does really suck to have friends with no bikes, and a brand new 14,000 toy and just putt putt around by myself.

I've got some other guys that may be interested in the ride tomorrow starting at Jacks.

He had a ride planned for tomorrow too, so hopefully we can get everyone together.
