Sorry to here this John. Glad you're ok.

But by the topic title I assumed odot stopped by.... The dude does like to wrestle when he gets drinkin'

:jester:

I was not thinking so much the center of my lane, but closer to the center trafic lane to my right.
Statistically speaking (lies, damn lies, and statistics) the center lane is the safest to travel in. I make it a point to ride in the center when I have a choice.
actually, in most cases (which is what statistics are about) that's not the case. due to the crud from other vehicles accumulating there and your lack of visibility to others who have their line of sight to you blocked by cars in front/back of you, tracks 1 and 3 are preferred over track 2 (based on conditions).

Very glad to hear that the damage was only to machinery John, and that you were uninjured.

Bikes can be repaired much more quickly than bodies. All the best.

You know, you guys shouldn't automatically condemn that driver. Maybe he was running late, and could't hang around. Or perhaps he was taking an important phone call. Or was unaware he's been in a collision.

And you're assuming too, that he had a normal childhood. We all struggle, and at times make poor choices.

One must take into account his feelings too.

Right?

I think he's talking about the center lane of traffic (where there is more than one), not the center track. That is, the center lane is statistically safer, the center track not so much.
