Two fellows [from Florida and Virginia] on a 6 month rideabout. Dave & Jerry were riding Yamaha Tenere's pulling trailers.

Help them a little bit with their routes. They heading for Alaska but not in a straight line.

Here is a little copy from the day I met them.

Day 68 June 4thStopped at Adventure Motorsports in Monroe WA to get new rear tires mounted up. Visited with Garry Gallager while there. Garry is a long time friend who I met at road races years ago. He was EBC brake rep back then. Been a few years since last seeing him.
Left there with new tires and rode out Hwy 2 to do the Cascade loop. Stopped at Der Baring Store/Post office to mail a few things back home. Quaint old store with very good pie and ice cream. Friendly people and an atmosphere like stepping back in time.
Rode through Levenworth WA. All the buildings and shops in the town are built with an old German look. Cool.
Finished the day at Lakeshore Campground in Chelan WA. Its a city park/campground and is one of the nicest I have ever been in.
Looks like we are going to get through WA without getting rained on. Weather has been fantastic on this whole trip so far.
218 miles today.
