My 1000 V-Strom's Fuel Injection decided to puke out today. I didn't get stranded since it happended in my driveway but I spent the whole day trying to find the cause. I think it is a loose connection because it manages to fix itself once in a while but before I let the local stealer take it (and my bank account) apart, I would like to get a code reader so I would at least know where to start looking. Does anyone know where I could get a Code Reader for a V-Strom at a reasonable price?
Update: It turns out I don't need a Code Reader, I just have to jump a couple of contact points and then I will get a reading on the dash. Not quick as slick as using the FJR's Diag Panel. I wonder why the locat stealer didn't tell me I could do that this afternoon when I asked how to find the error code.
