With the addition of the wiring for the Soltek's, I now have SIX additional ring terminals stacked on top of each of the OEM battery terminals. I can't even find or count all the Bosch-type relays jammed into the nose fairing.

That should do it....

Oh wait, I still need some grip heaters. May have to relinquish my secondary battery tender leads....

And the damn fairing pocket has gone fubar on me.

 
Add an additional battery, then go to the automotive store (Advanded, Discount, Napa, etc.) and get a dual battery charging transistor pack. done.

Why not add a fused distribution block and get rid of those stacked rings?? My blue seas block is handy and I still have 3 open slots waiting for more goodies.

I have the Blue Sea installed also... So you get take a gander at the fine job Smitty does! I am so illiterate when it comes to working on these bikes! I suppose i should learn to do this stuff someday! :rolleyes:

 
Why not add a fused distribution block and get rid of those stacked rings??
FYI - This fall I'll be releasing my own version of a fused distribution panel, designed from the ground up for a motorcycle. It will be stuffed full of features not present in any other available product.

 
I also use the Blue Sea fuse box....works so well. My fuse box is mounted under the seat in the tool space (tool kit moved to the tail space). I run one wire from the + side of the battery to a 30 amp relay and then to the fuse box. I take a "key on" power from my old horn wire (I have the mag blaster horn kit installed) and run it back to the relay. The fuse box is grounded to the frame. Now I can run 12 volt power where I need it on the bike without touching the battery again. Currently I am running the following accessories -

1) Powerlet connection for my heated vest mounted on the left side of the bike just under the seat.

2) Powerlet connection mounted into the right hand fairing that powers my tank bag of goodies.

3) Audiox CC in a Skyway mount on the left handlebar

4) GPS on a steering stem mount

5) Starcomm under the tail

6) To be added.....Radar detector on the right handle bar

Info....I mounted my CC module under the right side panel...perfect fit
