Both in house legal for under $700.00 and i shot up 100 rounds on the range for free.

Good onya! Firearms are very expensive over here to own a hand gun you must by law be a member of a club and shoot fairly regularly. I like the Mk iii Ruger Hunter, cheap to shoot and accurate.

Best regards

Steve

I was just gonna say, I've played with that Ruger and it's a fine bit of kit!! But I HATE loading those clips!!!!!

I hear ya AJ.. A tiny dick Mexican steered me towards that cheap ass Springfield.

I need to quit drinking.

Springfield's XD line of guns are great! I have an XD9 and had an XD Compact that I sold to a friend after buying a Walther PPS.

Nice pistols. I haven't bought a new gun in over two years simply because there is no ammunition available. Things are starting to show up on the shelves in selected calibers, but .22 is still impossible to buy unless I am willing to stand in line when the store opens the morning the shipment comes in.

Love the Ruger. I've got a couple of them. Never played with an XD but I have a Springfield V10 ultra 45acp that is great. Every bit as reliable as my Colt's

I've been drooling over the 5.25" version of that Springfield...but I can't seem to convince the boss that I really need one.

My pistol is an. XD 9mm (short one). I bought it about a year ago and paid $500.00 so I think u did very well. BTW- if I leave the clip fully loaded as the gun sits in my drawer, will I weaken the clip spring over time?

Oh the last time I brought up weapons on this forum I was chastised......

Good man !!! BTW - Michigan now allows their constituents to finally be able to own Suppressors, time to start the process of obtaining some good mufflers for ya there my friend....

Had a Bitone 45 XDm, but sold it off, picked up OD Green 9mm XDm, which is pretty darn nice I have to say.

I kinda gots me an affinity for some HK's though...Too many to post up pics... But here are a few....

Fixed that for ya.....

It will take quite some time for the Mag springs to weaken so I wouldn't worry about it..... I'm thinking Years....
IMO - You should be practicing on a regular basis, so any failure with feeding rounds from a weak spring will show up at some point, and you can replace the spring at that time....

Glad you guys are concentrating on the 9's. I have no issues finding .38's & .40's. 9MM & .22 that's another story.

PS Bust you're going to put your eye out with that thing.

Yeah, I removed all odd ball rounds from my collection for ease of stocking ammo. 9mm, 45, 556, & 308. Shortages caused me to add another hobby to my collection... reloading with twin Dillon 650's small and large primer haha

I have about 1000 rounds in .22 but you're right, trying to find it anyplace around here is looking imposable.. 9mm is in plentiful supply in these parts Karl.

.22LR is pretty scarce up here in 'guns are eeeevil' Canuckistan. I just bought a Henry Goldenboy .22, and managed to score a 500 brick of remington thunderbolt to add to the @ 500 various inherited from my nephew. Should be good for a couple of weekends.

I understand the ammo shortage is beginning to ease off

.22 is scarce everywhere, except online where they are charging (and getting) super inflated prices. I have had some .22 on back-order from Cabellas for almost a year now.
