I've been off my bike for almost a year rehabing a injury. Got the opportunity to ride today and WOW!.

I didn't know how much I missed my friend until today. If things continue to go well with the injury, we will have many miles to get reacquainted.

BTDT...only 5 1/2 months recovery.

After a couple of months when I could finally get to the garage without a walker, crutches or help, I'd crawl on the bike and start it. I'd wistfully sigh as I ran it through it's warm-up cycle waiting for "The Day."

As with you, the first ride was like taking a drug! Luckily my "loop" was only 90 miles or so...I came home and took a nap because I was so worn out...but I RODE!
