This info is supposed to confidential. I have my CBA members to think of...

Now everyone will know..

EDIT - addition

And just lookee at the number 1, uno, king of the hill brand of motor bike used in the LD community? Yep... read and weep..

Harley-Davidson (I did NOT post the numbers as requested by the IBA site, neither should you)

BTW - looks like the quacker contingent is moving up... we need more fjr pilots to get their ss1k's done.. any takers?

My goal is to at least complete 1 SS1 this summer.

I'd guess that Yamaha is close to Kaw because we just passed them, not because they're catching up. The old Connie was an LD workhorse for a long time. There aren't many Yamahas on that list before the arrival of the FJR.

Some of those rides at the top of the list just make you salivate, don't they? That's some incredible stuff. And I want an IBA shirt that says, "Ardys Kellerman can kick my ass."

I can't believe it was 2001 when I did the 50cc. Doesn't seem that long ago. I guess I've waited long enough to do an official BBG. I'll get that in this summer somehow.

Nice. my fist one from last September is there and I'm planning for a Butt burner 1500 in mid April to Tejas and back! :clapping:

Hmmm…

Harley-Davidson© represents 30.499% of the certified bikes. With a market share of approximately 51% they are woefully underrepresented. It’s hard to do 1K in a day stopping at every bar along the route for a drink. Then there is rain, fog, clouds, too much sun. Knowing Harley-Davidson© owners it's admirable they were able to muster the showing they did, although I think many of them included the mileage on the trailer as they were towing the bike to their destination. :haha: :tease:

Honda is a modest winner, but BMW is far away the winner here with their representation out-stripping their market share of approximately 5% with 22+% of the bikes certified.

The under-representation of Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki is probably a function of product mix as those companies until recently have been dominated by sport bikes(the Concours non-withstanding).

In the list everything from Guzzi down is noise…I want to meet the folks who did it on the Piaggios and the Hyosung!

Are you on the list?

One of the rides I find most impressive:

Richard M. Bunt Atlanta, GA 07/21/04 H-D V-Rod 1,800+Jennifer Ferguson Bunt (pillion) 07/21/04 H-D V-Rod 1,800+

An 1800+ BBG on a Harley V-Rod. Two-up.

Impressive. Would like to meet those two.
