The idle control mechanism has totally changed on the '06.
On the '05 and earlier when you turn the idle control knob you are changing the stop point or closed resting position of the butterfly throttle valves.
On the '06 the throttle valve resting postion is fixed. The idle rpm is controlled by a bypass air valve adjustment. The bypass valve is adjusted with the idle knob. A hose from the airbox supplies air to the valve. Then four hoses branch out from the valve to the throttle bodies.
This may be an improved scheme but it adds complexity with the additional hoses and control valve.
