If you had the opportunity to trade your FJR1300 on a pristine Augusta MV would you do it?

Only if I could then sell the MV and make enough to get a new FJR, farkle it up and be left with a nice profit. :p :p :bleh: :bleh: :p :p

I see one here in town every now and again. Never the owner, just the bike. That friggin' thing is gorgeous! Though I'm not sure I would want one for a keeper.

Beautiful machine; but I would be concerned about service/parts availability; obviously that may not be an issue depending on your address......

I re-did the lighting in the service department at Pro Italia right after the first ones came out... The $30,000.00 ones (I think it was about 30K) and they had one striped down on the rack for the whole time we were there! I asked the Service Manager.............. Bad valve guides.....it had been sitting there torn apart for 3 months......... they were waiting for the parts to come from Italy!

Like I said I would want to be able to sell it at a profit.

If I had the $$$$$$$$ and a dozen or two bikes in my stable sure, otherwise..No Thanks.

Augusta MV

Very Sharp. Stef might be able to run interference for you if you get one, then have problems. He's just down the street from these guys, isn't he? TEEREX?

Again,

It all depends on which one it is. If it was a new Brutale, no thanks

But, if it's one of the 1000cc F4 models, I would jump on it in a heartbeat. This one is limited to 300 worldwide and retails for about $42K.

They also have other models of this bike that are a bit more reasonable (relatively speaking). This one's about $21.5K.

Ditto Randy ! The F4 Limited, then after hopefully recovering and finishing physical therapy and the skin grafts, buy the 2007 FJR !!! :D

Look at it this way. It's still only half the price of an o.c. chopper :D I would rather have a busa, fjr and a gold wing all for the same amount.its all personal taste.which would you rather have a benz or a completely restored 69 ss and a cuda.....i'm goin old school.also just think what you could do to a fjr if you through an extra $25,000 at it after purchase...happy fjr'n

Hey FJRocket,

Yup. Normally I am. Right now I'm in Raleigh, NC enjoying the tropical heat... :bleh:

As for MV Agusta, I pass by their factory about once a week.

Beautiful machine and - as someone else already said - I'd get one if I had the money and garage space.
