If you pay for tire mounting, how much?

Idaho Falls:

Bott yamaha near 200 but MUST buy tires there and they are expensive.

Action Motorsports 90/tire IF you but the tires from them and they are expensive.

Bobs Honda and the other teeny local repair shops are about 20 -30/tire off bike. One is 10 off bike if tires bought there.

Rexburg Motorsports will do mine at 20/tire on bike and they charge internet prices for tires. This is where I go.

I change tires for a number of people. I will not accept money, but I have received booze, a gift card for a restaurant, booze, a set of Ken Burn's "The Civil War" on DVD, booze, a new set of BMW heavy duty gortex gloves and booze.

$25 per tire for mount and balance off the bike here. Used to be just elbow grease when Alberto was living closer and would let me use his tire machine.

I sense a pattern but it's not quite clear...

PS -- My tire changing customers pay the same as yours!

I use to pay $25 off the bike per wheel. Then I got stupid drunk one nite, went on the Internet and bought this creature (Derrik Weaver w assist arm). It was 1700 banana's when all said and done, and, I could of bought a lot of mounting for that! (hence why I said the purchase was stupid).

It's convenience for me however, only bad thing is I can't bring it to any Tech Days.

So far, friends that I have 'mounted for' have brought me a case of beer, one bud bought me a nice dinner. At this rate, it will be the year 2049 before it's paid for. Oh well, I have it mostly for my own bikes and ATV's and it's ready when I am.
So, when ya hosting a Tech Day?

If Mike (wnyfjr) bows out, in! But, I don't think that Mike n Laura will/want to... but if so?, I would pick it up. I think there's enough TD's to date in our area. I pledge that I will make Andy's next year, well, Debbie says we are anyways.

I have been using a local independent who charges $70 total both tires on the bike. He does such careful work I do not mind taking the bike to him. He double checks all torque work and never scratched a rim. That includes new stems and balancing.
