Though I love Simon & Garfunkel, and also really enjoy that particular song, I do believe a more appropriate choice for my anticipated IBR ride would be.................

AC/DC's Highway to Hell.

See you soon, Iggy.

Tobie and Lisa are due in the next 20 minutes or so and off to Boise. One last pic of my ugly mug with bike in it's IBR trim.

Good luck and be safe.

...Oh, and remind me this winter that I wanted to ask your opinion about those hand guards you've got.

...and, yeah, you dropped your tape!

This guy is doomed. He can't even hang on to his electric tape.

Wonder what else will fall off on his way to St Louis.....

oh, well.... I'll bring an extra roll of electric tape for him when I head out east myself....

Yo Iggy! That FJR is diiiiiiiirty!

What's up wit dat?

Me thinks the tech inspector might have to doc you some points before you even get out of the starting gate for having an unclean FJR.

:p

Looks like my hands are going to get dirty changing tires on that thing... I guess I will have to put the shop sign back up..

"Bikes must be clean or a shop charge of one IBR t-shirt for working on a dirty bike"

Please don't wash it... :yahoo: :yahoo: Smitty

That's a xxxx eatin' grin if I've ever seen one.

(Prolly thinking "My electrical tape will save my ass. I'm so smart for packing it.")

Damn. I'm in Boise now and realized I forgot a roll of tape at home!

Clean FJR? ****, a clean bike is one bound to gain attention of the technical inspectors. Homie don't need that.....after all....Warchild already knows most of my dirty little FJR secrets.

Tobie, Lisa, and I rolled into Boise about an hour ago and had various forms of chicken burgers and water…….trying to edge out caffeine for the next couple of days. Paul is due in about 20 minutes.

It will be nighty-night soon and get up maybe get up and roll out at 6 to 7 a.m. for the next day's ride towards Lincoln.

Say what, now?

Quite the contrary.... if anything, I will award him extra GZ-inspired style points for his unclean machine.

Let's not forget the Tech Inspector's position on "clean" bikes? A clean bike... is a
supergay.gif
bike.

Best of luck Iggy. Stay safe and keep that FJR assistance directory with you. BTW, you have too much stuff on that poor little FJR.

Drove a BBG in my truck with Linda to Lincoln. Writing from the Super8 on "O" Street.

See you folks in St Louis tomorrow.

Ahhhh crap! You must have brought your laptop in.

...I was hoping this little faux pas would drift off from memory by now and you wouldn't spot this thread.
