I'm a new Grandpa!

Little, and Little is the operative word, Rose surprised us all and made her appearance 9 weeks early!

Mom and Rose doing fine! 2.2# of feisty energy according to the new parents.

Will be in the NICU for a while, but she is eating, pooping, gaining weight and most importantly Breathing on her own without supplemental O2.

Holding off on our visit to Portland until Mom and Rose are home and need some help.

Criteria for leaving hospital is 5# and some other technical stuff.

Wow! Wasn't ready for this, at least at this point!

Annie and I were informed about the great news last night as we hosted Festar. We released him back into society this morning and he was headed east.

You are going to enjoy being a grandpa. All the fun with half the stress and work. We had our first 15 months ago and he is a hoot. I plan to be the first to buy him a drum set, a firearm and get him a mullet haircut. Ha, take that daughter of mine.
