During a beautiful ride yesterday I learned why everybody recommends tethering farkles mounted on the bike. After hitting a bump my MP3 player (with an awesome new playlist I might add) went ballistic. After going straight up about 20 feet it hit the road and disintigrated into more pieces than are in the space shuttle.

If you don't mind the question, how was the MP3 player attached (other than "without a tether"?).
