Welcome back. Which scenic armpit of the world did you visit?
8 months in Baghdad and 5 months in Basrah with the 10th Cavalry (4th INF)
Lovely spots...... NOT. Thanks for your service. You survived that, now watch your butt back here too. Not to go all safety nazi on you, but consider taking one of the intermediate MSF classes to get back in the groove with the bike.

It's got to feel good to finally go for a ride though.

Glad your home. Thanks for your service.

Thanks guys! it means alot to 'us guys over there' that theres all this support behind us. Its quite a relief to be done, this was my 3rd year in the sandbox and 8th in the Army, my enlistment is now fulfilled and it's off to college!

I took my first post deployment ride today since arriving home on Tuesday evening, traffic is SCARY!

OCfjr: thanks for the advice, the Army is gonna make all riders take a 1 day refresher course sometime in the next 2 weeks, so I'll be doing that.

Welcome home, Wanderer!!

Like many things in life, abstinence from anything makes it just that much sweeter when you finally do get to taste. That FJR has got to feel like it's singing the sweetest song.

Let me add my thanks to you for your service to our country.

I hope the only Wandering you have to do now is that of your own accord.

Welcome back and certainly glad you made it safely and in one piece. There is just nothing like a military tour overseas to make you realize what a great country you were representing. We all appreciate your sacrifice and service for the rest of us. Take care and enjoy the FJR.
