Being an "all thumbs" type of mechanic, I am normally reluctant to tackle maintenance tasks or repairs outside my comfort zone. After watching some of the how-to videos here, I decided to give a few new things a try. I changed the air filter (no big deal), the spark plugs (the hardest part was getting the boots off the plugs) and I sync'ed the throttle bodies (!). The throttle body thing was way outside the tasks I feel comfortable with and required the purchase of the sync tool, but I got it done without too much fuss. It seems to run much crisper now. Tomorrow I bleed the brakes and clutch and flush all the old fluid, then I'll install heated grips. I've also done the throttle spring unwind, the glove box fix and insulated under the tank. Watch out !!
