I am now the proud owner of a 2007 FJR1300, standard. They are taking it out of the box and building it tomorrow, I am stoked!

I have the 2005 Warrior also, so I am just chompin at the bit for tomorrow to try my new toy.

Y'all got a hell of a fast bike, had to have one....

I have had a great time for the last 2 years on www.rswarrior.com and will conitnue to.

If I learn half as much from you guys, I will now all I need to know to really enjoy this bike.

My first thanks go out to FJRottie, the information I already got allowed me to totally steer the deal today. I sent the dealer a list of 15 things I will be looking for when I pick it up and most of the information was from FJRottie's write up for newbies, great stuff, thanks!

Is it tomorrow yet?

Everyone here shares your enthusiasm. Bring a camera with you (they'll understand) and document the delivery and delight.

Not too many things better than picking up a new motorsickle, huh? (With your shorts on.)

Get back to us. :D

Congrats..post dem pic's..I bought a used 04 about 4 months ago, and feel your enthusiasum....be sure you get your saddle bag liners from the dealership they try n skimp out on thoes from time to time..

FJRMGM....yes life in the USA is good, no great! We are so lucky to live where we do.

The pics will be up as soon as I get the bike.....

Lago Runner.....Do you know for sure they still give the liners in the saddle bags? I have only been able to find them listed as a retail item.

This is gonna be fun. Yosemite is on the list of rides this spring. The Warrior does not do well traveling far, the FJR should be the answer for that.

Daily Commuter....I thought about the AE, but decided I am too conventional....lol

Either way, the bike is bad and I have heard a lot of good things about the AE, glad you like it

I am sure the FJR will quickly become one of my better motorcycles, that I have bought over the last 30 years.

I can tell you now, it's a lot easier to change the oil on the FJR than the Warrior!

Congrats, enjoy, get sliders...

Welcome to FJR ownership and to the asylum the Forum. :D

1) Yes, the bag liners are supposed to come with the sidecases. There has been 1 (one) issue, but the dealer found the truth (although Yamaha gave him bad info) and the liners were given to the new owner.

2) There's a NorCal ride on Feb 17th: Click here!

3) NAFO! First ever North America FJR Owners gathering in Golden, Colorado. Click here!

bag lines and that 3rd lockset for the top trunk come with the 07s. I bought mine last May.

Read, print and take with you, the new owner's checklist. I did, although my dealer had sold 3 new FJR's prior to mine, they knew the drill.

Congrats!! Happy Riding (lucky bastards in CA ) :)

Congrats on the new ride.

Been tearing up the roads of socal on mine.

Watch your speed on these things. They love to cruise near triple digits.

I thought I was going to get it today, but they do not have it finished yet.

Monday....I made room in the garage for her arrival

Pix soon

It is in the garage. I love it....

I changed the left side peg to help my leg a bit. Works nice, I will post of pics soon

Thanks all for helping me make a good deal on this fine toy.

Hey scootman,

Congratulations on your new bike, could you tell me what dealer you bought from and do they still have any 07's left?
