Panama Canal Crosser
Went to my Beemer dealer over the weekend (ok, that was my first mistake).
They just got in the brand new BMW 2-cyl 600cc Scoots with ABS, heated seats and lots of built in farkles. OK, I touched and sat-on them only (very comfy btw!). The owner of the stealership (Art) was like, "hey KJ, ya ready for another test drive?" me..."HELL NO! NO, NO, NO!" I told him (and I'm sure everybody in the showroom heard me) ... "ya got me to drink the Kool-Aid the last time and it cost me nearly 30 Grand!" Art smiled and told me to grab some coffee n doughnuts. I resisted again thinking no friggen way dude and I told my buddy, I'm not drink'n nothing here AND I hate scooters!
But put a gas tank between the seat and bars and you almost got a freeqn luxury motorcycle. Wheels/Tires/Brakes have sure come a long way too, I was impressed but I seriously do not want one. My buddy says it would make great transport to and from the Marina for me.. I told him that's why I'm keeping the Feej! As you can see in the background of the pics my dealer is also a Vespa dealer, maybe dependable but surely 'one' of the most ugliest 2 wheeled creatures.
