In 2 Weeks I will be a Judge

One good thing about being a judge must be that when your wife corrects you about anything you can respond, "I'll be the judge of that." You'll still lose the argument, but for a brief moment you'll feel great.

My job isn't one that will involve very much travel. We do have judges in other counties that really travel a lot. In Idaho every county has a sitting judge, and some of our counties have populations of less than 1,000 people, so those judges commute to more populated counties. We have a judge here that comes in 4 days a week from a county that's 60 miles away. She pays cash for a new car every 2 years from mileage reimbursements.
