OH ****, there goes the neighborhood!
The ferry's are the best. Nothing does my heart my good than to ride to the front of the line past all of the waiting cages. :fan_1:

Offer is still good on room & board. I know ya don't drink  but I have a bottle of Maker's Mark that some misguided sole from Creston sent me. Seems like that would a good time to break the seal.
Good gawd man, you still haven't broken the seal? *****!

Concur. I've ridden the ferries many times and only that one was I ever worried about my bike tipping.

WA Ferries don't do tiedowns that I've ever seen even though I carry a set. The ferries are usually really large and take the Puget Sound well. But about the first serious set of rollers on one trip from Keystone to PT I immediately went below and straddled my bike for the rest of the ride. The second set of rollers and the captain announced over the PA, "Motorcyclists, please return to your bikes and make sure they stay upright...the wind's picking up".

Three cruiser riders lumbered down as quickly as I've every seen leather wrapped dudes move and heard them say, "Crotch rocket guy has it figured out!"

Move to Cali, do it at every stop light and whenever traffic slows below the speed limit. Still haven't lost that magic feeling (fook, can't believe I went with that last bit in a thread thick with fairies and tie-downs - may as well throw in a unicorn)
