This was posted on the VFR forum. I thought this guys set up was pretty nice....Now all I need is a larger garage to put one in.

It *looks* like a standard above-floor type that the guy just had a recess for poured into the slab.

I'd just drop all my tools in the pit.
:yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

Yeah and all those stupid fairing fasteners... They'd be gone forever!

I'd still like to have one... I need a challenge - So far I've found every one.

Not the greatest idea for THAT type of lift. With my luck, my foot would slip into the pit while standing close to the lift, and I'd break my ankle.

They make a lift that's designed to be sunk into the floor. It looks like the old car lift, with the big steel tube in the middle. This way the whole floor is intact.

It looks like a very complex solution for a very simple problem. I think I would have just bought a couple of 2 X 12's to drive the car on.

Hmmm, wonder what happened to the photo I posted in the first thread?? Removed by admins for some reason? :dntknw:

That is agreat way to get a lift and something that will do the work as suposse to.

Estimated cost: concrete cutting 250.00

motorcycle lift 500.00

16 sacks cement 64.00

4-2x4's 15.00

misc.items 91.00

total:: 1000.00 Prices based in the Sacramento area they may vary depending on location

The only thing that I would have added would be to plumb for air for an upgrade of the lift.

Great job weekend rider :)
